Havacos, Havanese mixed

Havapoo Havacos Cavanese

Havacos

Availabilities

The Havacos is a hybrid breed resulting from the cross between the Havanese and the Cocker Spaniel, developed by breeders aiming to create a dog that combines the sensitivity, affection, and intelligence of the Cocker with the joy and friendly nature of the Havanese. It is particularly valued for its moderate size, often hypoallergenic coat, and balanced temperament, making it an excellent companion for families and individuals with allergies. The Havacos is very attached to its family and enjoys spending time with loved ones. It has a strong desire to please, gets along well with children and other pets, and is friendly and open towards strangers. The Havacos learns easily, making it simple to train. A positive approach and rewards will motivate it.

Physical Characteristics

The Havacos is robust and well-proportioned, allowing for good agility and graceful movements. Its coat is long, silky, and may be slightly wavy, with a wide variety of colors. Its eyes are large, round, and expressive, reflecting its affectionate nature. The head is rounded with a moderately long muzzle. Its ears are long and floppy, like those of both parent breeds, and are often covered in long, silky hair.

Its Drawbacks

The Havacos requires regular grooming, so maintaining its coat can be demanding. It is important to pay regular attention to ear care. Being affectionate by nature and very attached to its family, if not accustomed to being alone from a young age, it may suffer from separation anxiety. It needs consistent attention for its emotional well-being.

When it comes to crossing, it is important to consider the characteristics of each breed
